
English For Academic Purposes
This level is for English for Academic Purposes and is designed to develop and extend the language skills of students who are able to communicate and express their needs and feelings. Student would be able to interpret and analyse material at a sophisticated level and be able to use language appropriate within the specific field of academic studies with a focus towards skills to enter into further studies at a Diploma or Bachelor level.
By the end of this course students will achieve a high level of proficiency in all four macroskills that will allow them to gain entry into various university programs. The EAP course will raise the students’ competency levels in terms of use of academic language, both written and spoken, with particular emphasis on vocabulary, appropriate use of cohesive devices and essay writing.

At this level, the students will still work under teacher’s supervision but they will also be encouraged to learn autonomously, thus gaining greater confidence in their own abilities.
