
Introductory English
This level is designed for students with limited ability to use English in practical situations and whose vocabulary and use of sentence structure are minimal. By the end of this course students should be able to communicate at a basic level in a variety of social contexts.

Course Outline | Learning strategies
The teacher will train students to apply metacognitive, cognitive and socio-affective strategies in their learning.
Learning outcomes
There will be explicit descriptors used for establishing the students’ learning outcomes. By the end of the program the students will be proficiency tested. Benchmarks for progressing will be set, so that students will gain a clear idea how much they have to progress in order to advance to a higher level. |
